We are collecting new and gently used children's books to give to children who don't have books to call their own
There are two sections to the book drive - The Book Drive School Challenge is a competition between two schools this year: Moran Prairie Elementary and Mullan Road Elementary.
Thanks to our Success By 6 sponsors, the school that collects the most books for the drive will be awarded $400 to buy books for their school library. The Book Drive School Challenge runs through November 4th.
The public book drive runs from now until November 13th. You can drop off your new and gently used books at these locations through November 13th.

Donated books go to the Success By 6 Book Bank in the Spokane Valley, run by Kiwanis Club volunteers. The role of the book bank is to provide a book to any child from birth to age 6; to distribute information to parents about the importance of reading to young children and provide suggestions for reading together; and to circulate existing books in the community.
Any agency, group, organization or business can fill out an application and distribute books to children on behalf of the Success By 6 Children's Book Bank. The only requirement is the books must be distributed to children age birth through six in Spokane County.
