NEC Introduces New Android(TM) based Cloud Communicator Terminals on Astini News
& Tokyo, Aug 26, 2011 - (JCN Newswire) - NEC Corporation (NEC; TSE: 6701) announced the launch of two new business-use models of its Android(TM) based "LifeTouch(R)"(1) Cloud Communicator series. The new products, NEC's "LifeTouchNOTE Business Model" and the "LifeTouch Security Pack Model," begin shipping in Japan August 26.
These new additions to the LifeTouch series provide for a wide range of business needs with an elevated level of security. In addition to boasting the Android operating system, these terminals are equipped with NEC's proprietary security features, which prevent information leaks, fraudulent use and enable users to remotely and safely access company networks.
As a result, these terminals capitalize on a wide range of business friendly functions, including remote access that enables convenient creation of email, schedules and company documents, which facilitates the flow of information and enables the management of retail stores, factories, production lines and inspections.
