MTV Multiplayer – Harley Quinn Gets Her Revenge In May’s ‘Arkham City’ DLC [Updated] on Astini News

[Update: the original post dated the DLC as coming next week--it's in fact going to be hitting your video game machines on May 29th alongside the release of the Game of the Year Edition.]

Oh yeah, and Arkham City is getting a Game of the Year edition at the end of May.

You have to imagine that given the events at the end of Batman: Arkham City, the Joker's main squeeze—shrink turned psycho Harley Quinn—might have something of a bone to pick with Batman. Well, it looks like she'll have a chance to take up what's certainly a formidable beef with the Dark Knight in next month's DLC release, "Harley Quinn's Revenge" for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The trailer above describes "Harely Quinn's Revenge" as the "final chapter" in the Arkham City story (which is unfortunate, because this is a game that could have used more story-based DLC), and according the press release, this DLC will provide another two hours of gameplay to your Arkham City experience.

Here's the synopsis:

The Harley Quinn's Revenge mission sends players back into Arkham City to face their final challenge as they interchange between playing as both Batman and Robin. Gamers must utilize each of the characters' unique combat and investigative skills to uncover Harley's vengeful plan and shut the gates on the urban mega-prison forever. In addition to experiencing a new storyline, fans can explore new environments and face-off against Harley's all new gang of thugs.

On the 360, this last drop piece of Arkham City will run you 800 MS Points while on the PS3 it'll cost you $9.99 as these things tend to go with a release date of April 30th.

"Harley Quinn's Revenge" will also be bundled in the May 29th release of the Arkham City: Game of the Year Edition, which will feature all of the previously released DLC for last year's award-winning game along with a download code for the animated Batman: Year One.
