Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) January 20, 2012

Palo Alto based startup Veetle is announcing a new release of their mobile app that provides simple, instant live video broadcasting for users of iOS devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and on select Android devices. According to the October comScore Video Metrix, online video reached a new all-time high in 2011 with 184 million viewers in the US watching over an average of 21.1 hours per month, making this an optimal time for bringing easy broadcasting and sharing of live video to mobile devices.

Bo Yang, Founder and CEO of Veetle says about the new app: "Veetle helps people connect and communicate using live video. Our mobile appis a step further along this direction to allow our users to share what's happening around them more easily with their friends or the whole world."

This new release allows users to view user-generated content directly from their mobile device on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks, in addition to instantly broadcasting their own live video from their mobile device. Broadcasts are promoted on the Veetle channels page for mobile broadcasters while built-in sharing via SMS or email allows a broadcaster to instantly share with friends and family.

The latest version of the Veetle app is now available at no cost in the Apple App Store and Android Marketplace. For more information visit veetle.com.
